The word “Kōkua” in the Hawaiian language means “selflessly helping others.” This is the ethos behind our Jiu-Jitsu brand. Our founding members were born and raised in Hawaii, bringing with them the culture and spirit of the islands. It was through the path of Jiu-Jitsu we discovered our calling of helping others in need by sharing the art.

Jiu-Jitsu is an amazing self-defense lifestyle where you learn how to protect yourself and those you love. It takes you on a journey of discovery, personal growth, confidence, wellness, improved mental and physical health, and lifelong friendships.
